Rev. sandy heard
Rev. Sandy Heard is an ordained Elder serving in this community for the past seven years - beginning at First UMC Rockwall as an Associate Pastor and now at First UMC Heath as Lead Pastor. She grew up in Rockwall and feels honored to serve in her hometown. Prior to jumping into ministry full-time, Sandy enjoyed an 18-year career in Human Resources management…where she expected to stay for the rest of her working years. God disrupted her life with a clear call to leave a job she loved for one she’d love even more. Years later, Sandy continues to be in awe of the ways God takes the wisdom we gain from our past experiences of joy and suffering to prepare us for the next season of our lives. Sharing this holy mystery with others is one of her favorite ways to help people see how God is already working through their experiences. Sandy has two young adult kiddos, 21 and 19.

kerri bergerhouse, administrative assistant
Kerri has been the Administrative Assistant for the church since 1996. She grew up in Kansas and moved to Texas in 1992. She is married to Phillip, has three sons, Josh, Ian & Cody and three grandsons, Ryder, Jaxon & Bennett. In her spare time she enjoys beach vacations, reading books and working on her 13 acre property.

keum hwang, director of music ministry
Keum Hwang is a Minister of Worship at FUMC Heath. She has Master's in Sacred Music from Southern Methodist University. She has been in various worship ministries, churches, conferences, and retreats since 2003. She loves God, and prays people see and experience God in every worship.
